Artist's Description

The photograph shows the collision of two water droplets that had a timed release. The first droplet initiated the vertical column after smashing into the pool. The second droplet has hit the vertical column and as a result is spraying outward. The back lighting gives the photo a feeling of outer space, and the formation of the droplets makes me thing of an eruption on a liquid planet. The photo was taken in 2019.
